Here we will determine your training priorities. We will:

  • Develop a prioritized action plan
  • Optimize training by cutting the most time from your race with the least work
  • Identify any risks, fears, or uncertainties
  • Set goals based on benchmarks

Method:

  • Build a SWOT chart (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats)
  • Map areas for gains – Taken from opportunities
  • Map fears – Taken from weaknesses and threats
  • Prioritize the list to deliver the best return for the least effort

Next, we will set race goal times. We will do so by:

  • Looking at your past race finish percentiles
  • Analyze finish times of your age group from the race you are planning
  • Use those averages as goals to beat
